Jewellery Care Instructions

  • Always put your jewellery on last and take it off first, after makeup, perfume and hairspray, not before
  • Limit exposure to water, chemicals and strong perfumes
  • Remove your jewellery before sleeping
  • Store your pieces flat and away from strong light
  • Avoid prolonged wear and undue stress on your jewellery; they are made to be worn and enjoyed, not pulled or bent!
  • Any questions at all, please get in touch.  I am always happy to help
  • Please keep polymer clay pieces away from water.  Avoid wearing in the shower, swimming or in heavy rain
  • Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth if needed

Lucite Flower pieces:

  • Similar to polymer clay, keep away from water and harsh chemicals
  • The hand painted alcohol ink colours are sealed but treat them gently.  Avoid scratching against rough surfaces
  • Store carefully to protect the delicate flower shapes
  • Give your pearls a gentle wipe with a soft damp cloth occasionally to remove any oils or residue
  • Remember to wear them.  Pearls genuinely love the natural heat and oils in your skin and will reward regular wearing with a beautiful lustre
  • Avoid submerging in water or exposing to harsh chemicals
  • Avoid harsh cleaning products.  A soft dry cloth is all you need for most gemstones
  • Some gemstones can fade with prolonged exposure to strong sunlight.  Store away from direct light when not wearing
  • Handle with care and avoid snagging on fabrics or rough surfaces
  • Store flat to maintain the shape of the piece
  • Keep your feather pieces dry where possible.  If they get damp, the feathers can separate and lose their shape, particularly the peacock eye feathers
  • Do not panic if this happens!  Hold the piece carefully over a gently steaming kettle, keeping a safe distance from the steam, and the feathers will gradually settle back into their natural form beautifully
  • Store carefully in a box or on a flat surface where the feathers will not be crushed or bent
