A Story About Music, Friendship and the Jewellery in Between

A personal note from Elles Bailey
I’ve always been drawn to pieces that feel meaningful and a little bit different, which is exactly why I love Fifi and the Peacock Jewellery. Everything is handmade, full of character, and you can really feel the uniqueness in every design.
My dandelion earrings and sunflower jewellery set are some of my absolute favourites-every time I wear them, I feel that little bit more special, like they carry their own story with them. They’re not just accessories, they’re pieces I genuinely connect with.
In fact, the sunflower earrings meant so much to me that they even feature on my album cover “Can’t take my story away”! That says everything, really. They’re beautiful, distinctive, and completely true to the kind of style I love. I always get compliments when I wear her pieces! Thank you FiFi xxx
Here at Peacock HQ, jewellery isn’t our only passion. Live music runs just as deep.
It started in 2019 when we first saw Elles Bailey supporting the Kris Barras Band in York and then caught her first headline show at the legendary Adelphi Club in Hull, just days before the world changed and lockdown began. She and her band blew our socks off completely and we’ve been devoted fans ever since.
Over the years, following Elles’s journey through her music, we got to know her and a friendship has grown from a shared love of great music and, as it turned out, beautiful jewellery.

When Elles released Shining in the Half Light in 2022, the peacock imagery on the album cover sparked an idea. I created a bespoke headpiece for her (peacock inspired, of course) and one of the most memorable moments for me was seeing her wear it when she supported Don McLean at Sheffield City Hall. Watching something that I made shine on a stage like that was something I’ll never forget.
Over the years I’ve gifted Elles several pieces as my way of showing appreciation for her as a person and my love of her music. She has worn them on numerous occasions, and every time feels like a little pinch yourself moment.
In 2024 Elles released Beneath the Neon Glow and in 2025 went on tour with Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, playing to thousands of people across the UK. When I got in touch to ask if she’d like some new jewellery created for the tour, I knew exactly what I needed to make. Pieces that could hold their own on a big stage, under big lights, in front of a big crowd.

I had enormous fun creating that collection. And in amongst it all, I sent a picture of my Sunflower earrings. She fell in love with them immediately and they went straight into the parcel along with a matching Sunflower necklace.
Those pieces needed to reach her by mid-June 2025 for a photo shoot. What I didn’t realise at the time was that the photo shoot was for her brand new 2026 album — Can’t Take My Story Away.
And there, on the cover, were the Sunflower earrings.
